Biography
Rev. Chrissy Ruehl is an ordained United Methodist clergyperson with 15+ years of experience in church and nonprofit ministry. She largely focuses on children and families with a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Stetson University and a Master of Divinity degree from Candler School of Theology at Emory University. She also has her certification as a mediator and a Community Resiliency Model teacher with a recent focus on the integration of mental health, wellness and spirituality with children and families. She currently is an independent consultant for Build the Bridge Consulting specializing in trainings and workshops with Loop It Up Savannah, a nonprofit children’s art program and writing curriculum for Real Kids Real Faith, a children's faith initiative out of Union Seminary. She also offers consulting and coaching for the enneagram and wellness and clergy mental health. Chrissy lives in Savannah with her husband, the Rev. John Ruehl, pastor at White Bluff Presbyterian Church and their two elementary age children, Remy and Ethan.
